WW seems to be doing good in offering exactly that kinda stuff people are longing for. They listen and learn fast. Fashion says featherweights will be attractive? They'll do a run on this. Gonna be succesful. 7.88 lbs, man, I'd love that one

Seriously though, I think I heard from somewhere that one of Jimmy Page's LP's is very light, like in the 7 pounds range.

Saw it somewhere along with the "Jimmy page no use Greco" thing back when I was researching Greco.

But Gibson does mention they use lightweight mahogany for No. 2. I am sure there's a reason for them to specifically mention that:

....the body alone was average weight of 6.5 lbs... Ad neck and all hardware than it is way over 7 lbs...

lightweight...........heavy price tag........damn!

No doubt these are expensive as hell, but they are easily in the same ballpark as other 2013 Gloss R9 Historics.

Yeah, I don't doubt that the No. 2 might not be as light weight as this Wildwood batch.
