Fight scene? Jackie Chan and the Old Man in the opening of Drunken Master 2. No ridiculous 1 man against 40, but 1 on 1 action that is brilliantly done.

Action scene? Opening sequence from Raiders of the Lost Ark. the suspense built up on his way to the golden idol to the harrowing escape from the crumbling temple as well as the Hovitos... again... brilliant.

Car Chase? Hands down... the original Gone in 60 Seconds... 93 cars wrecked and destroyed in a 40-minute car chase scene? Only the Blues Bros or Smokey and the Bandit come close but pale in realism. Oh and as far as Bullit... No way that Mustang could ever catch that Mopar in real life.

Explosion? Can't think of one.

My favorite hands down even though there are a lot I like, is Donnie Yen in IP Man. (IP man 1&2 are about Bruce Lees teacher )

This scene he's starving, beaten down by life and circumstance, and now has to fight 10 Japanese Karate practitioners.

Very impressive, but I think at the end of the fight, he should walk back to his potato, pick it up, look up at the Japanese officer and ask, "Can I get some mayo with this?".

Can't access Youtube on this pc but, I'm torn between the Vasquez sacrifice scene in Aliens and when the heist goes bad in Heat. Errrrrm..... Vasquez then. :)

I didn't know Eric Idle was a martial artist!!!!

This clip involves a bit of politically incorrect stereotyping, but the Scotsman cracks me up.

Favorite car chase scenes. Sorry, has to be two – both from the movie JADE. The first one isn’t exactly A chase, more of a run-away car scene. The brake lines get cut in thIS ‘80’s Mustang and it goes out of control on the hills in San Francisco - wicked good crash at the end. Great stunt work in this movie.

The actual car chase scene in JADE starts brutally with this ’92 blacked out T-Bird hitting and killing a witness. The chase ensues and there are some AMAZING big air stunts on the SF hills and the chase has a great wrap up. Couldn’t find a video of the whole thing but here’s how it starts

Favorite fight scene – Again, two from the same movie. I like the first fight in SNATCH where Brad Pitt breaks Gorgeous Georges neck with one punch. Hilarious.

I like the last fight scene as well – the directing and editing was awesome.

I had a friend that could "empty his cup" like Bruce. He even resembled Bruce..You could see he was 'gone' during sparring and everything he did was natural and very fast...We were really into it one afternoon and I thought I had him and moved in fast with a block and counter, (blocked his punch up high and was going to counter low to the abdomen). Before I knew what happened he had thrown a spinning hook kick at my head and I felt the side of his shoe go right down the side without actually hitting me...He says, "I call that my combing the hair technique." Talk about amazed...We had great matches and I would get mine in but as he grew as a student he outclassed everyone. :wow:
