Drew, if I may, I'd like to give you a small bit of advice.

First of all, I'm sure you're a decent guy. The thing is this though. You recently rubbed a lot of people here the wrong way. Older people than you. Hell, it happens. It's inevitable, in fact. A teenager is going to rub grown men the wrong way, and vice versa.

I ain't that old, and I ain't that young, so I'm saying this as a guy in transition between two age groups.

There are people here with kids of their own at home that are your age. They deal with teenage crap at home on a daily basis. They don't really feel like doing it here. With that in mind, with some of your more controversial comments still fresh in people's minds, members are going to take a thread that you created in sincerity with a grain of salt. Members will be harder on you than they will be on a guy with three posts. That too is inevitable.

So here's the advice: Quit making so many threads for a while. It opens you up to ridicule, and them up to punishment. In other words, not much positive will come from it.

INSTEAD, keep posting to existing threads. In a reasonable, well thought out, and logical way. Earn that respect, buddy. Believe me it will come. Wanna make a new thread in the Backstage? Make one about a topic that people can get into hashing over. Don't make a bury-the-hatchet, feel good thread just for the hell of it.

Keep your head down and earn that respect, IT WILL WORK.

On a final note, this is one of the longer posts I've ever typed, and it is all about giving honest advice to one of the more hated members here (no offense, but I believe you can handle the truth.) And I'm a notoriously disagreeable bastard.

PS:

No matter how pissed you ever get, if you insult someone with a lot of life experience and knowledge like KP or Geo (just for example), the wagons will circle, and you will be on the outside of said circle. Keep your cool and THINK before typing.
