Looking for advice on the Fake58 wiring harness:

Guitar Wiring Harnesses

How do those compare to the more expensive RS Guitarworks harnesses and the ones like MartinSixString's?

And what difference can one expect between the available capacitor options - grey tigers vs. early/late bumblebee reproductions?

Beginning to feel a slight urge to go to town on upgrading my Trad Faded. What am I trying to achieve? Well, the Faded is already a great guitar, but I want to make it as good as it can possibly get aiming for a vintage-sounding end result. Already eyeing out some aged Faber hardware upgrades and a set of boutique hand-wired PAF replicas.

Thanks.

The difference between ours is that we use CTS 550K Premium Pots, whereas Fake58 appears to be using CTS TVT pots. We tried the TVT's, but weren't overly impressed so we opted to stick with the 550Ks, which IMO, have a better taper and better resistance tolerance.

Not sure if they (Fake58) are using Luxe reproduction caps, which is what we use. Grey Tigers are paper wax by original construction, Bee's are PIO.

PM if you'd like to talk other details...
