Fake, but more like Gibson neck put on non Gibson body. Back before Chibsons people did all sorts of things to make guitars look legit. The giant pickup rings are also Interesting.

^ However every aspect of the body dimension screams Gibson too........knob patterns, horn, position of tailpiece correct for the period. The things that make people think fake are the easily changeable ones.

Someone posted a studio custom from the early 80's just recently, so the mix and match of 'model features' was alive in this period as well. This just seems like a Deluxe/standard version.
