I'm sure the author googled "fake Les Paul's" and my name came up....it usually does!

The article is pretty accurate....I'd say 85% ish.

Eric, if it's only half that you see are fake, you are a long way up the food chain! Relatively convincing fakes must outnumber the originals by a long way. I can still remember when it was reworked Tokais in a pre-internet era.

Surely someone will fake the ledger, got to be less work than faking a guitar. (Haven't subscribed to TWSJ, but got the gist from reading a few lines I think.)
