I have a Faber Bridge (not the locking one) on my 2014 R8. I have the nickle plated brass saddles installed. I also have a set of their titanium saddles that I bought some time ago but never installed.

Has anyone used the titanium saddles?

If so, why?

How do they sound compared to the nickle plated brass?

They are brighter. You generally only use them on the bass side strings, E, A, D, and not on the G.B.E. They do seem to make the bass side more punchy and "crisp". I have them on my guitar and do like them. I would not want them on the higher strings as they would be too much.

I don't like them. I still own the Gibson TOM Nashville bridge from my guitar with titanium saddles.

In case you'd like to have it, just let me know.
