So I was bored this afternoon and stuck away from home out of town. My hotel is fairly close to a Walmart and I decided to kill some time there. I was hoping to find some of those weird people of Walmart. It is a super Walmart so I figured there would be a lot of these there:

After about an hour of wandering around I did not see anyone like that at all. To my increasing dismay I began to wonder if, in fact, I WAS THE WEIRD one. If no one else was there it must be me!

I set my basket of non-essential goodies down and snuck out the door before anyone took any photos - I hope

If you want a guarantee that you'll see those "People of Walmart", you have to visit the Walmart in Galveston. One stroll through that place and you'll feel like you traveled back 25 million years of human evolution.

I took a photo once of a woman in Walmart who must have weighed 400 pounds if she weighed an ounce - pushing a grocery cart with 6 boxes of cake mix and twice as many cans of frosting clearly visible in her cart.
