I am selling a Fender Stratocaster American Special HSS with Seymour Duncan on the bridge and a hard case. This guy wants me to pay him 700 dollars extra for his guitar. He says it is a Gibson Les Paul Signature T Alphine White 2013, the thing is I do not find any guitar with the same specs as his. ¿Does anybody knows anything about this guitar?, and ¿Is it a good deal?

Hey, that sig T is worth around $1200 - $1400 range. Your American Special Strat, say around $700 without seeing it. If it were me, I'd be comfortable doing $400 on top of your strat.

Thanks for the info, the guy doesn’t want to lower the price, so I will pass on the Les Paul, too bad.

Info about the model:

White burst is nice, however it is easy to get yellow nitro burns in this finish. And the Signature T has granadillo fretboard instead of rosewood.

There's also a very limited run of Traditional Pro II in Alpine White around that time, with rosewood fretboard - http://www.gibsontraditional.com/models/gibson-les-paul-traditional-pro-ii-60s/

2013 Traditional completely made over into a 59'. Super dark board, lowest action I've ever played and a beautiful top to match. Pearly Gates pickups and a lot of parts from Creamtone.

I have the Sig T in trans black.
Love it. I took out the stock push/pull pots, and wired it 50s style with PIO caps. Amazing player.
I think his offer was fair for a strat special.
Despite what the masses say, the granadilla board looks/plays great.
