we have entered some very serious cork-sniffing territory now..

even if I could afford it, I would not even consider buying an old, used pick for that kind of money - even if it's the Pick of Destiny used by Les Paul himself, passed on to and used by Eric Clapton who then gave it to Jimmy Page to record a few albums, then finally passed to and used by Slash so he could record AFD with it.

$11,000 dollars .. no way, no how .. :rolleyes: :io:

that's the hell of a deal, I really believe that everybody should have that, I do really need that pick, and is so cheap that all the people can afford it

Lot 693 in Les Paul's estate auction consisted of hundreds of picks, many handmade by Les Paul. The lot sold for $10,000.

Some simple division results in a value of $20-30 per pick (depending on how many picks were in the lot). That makes sense to me; that's about what I would pay for one of them. Certainly not $11K.
