No it cannot.
The simple answer: if you have to base your own opinion off of the opinions of a bunch of people (most of which have clearly stated their own on the matter), then you probably shouldn't even think about it?Before I lay down cash for a new guitar what is all the crying about over the 2015 Gibson Les Paul? Can it be intelligently summed up by anyone here?

Don't mention it.Excellent answer to a question not asked. Thank you so much!
One of the huge problems about asking on an internet forum if guitar X is worth buying is that a load of people (who haven't tried one) will say it is rubbish, and a load of people (who haven't tried one) will say that it is the best thing ever produced.
Then there will be some who say that you should look at guitar Y instead. Followed by many who will say that Y is rubbish and you should buy guitar Z if you have any sense.
There will then be a discussion which will include a totally different manufacturer of guitars as being better value.
The end result will be that you will have been recommended to buy (or select from) about 50 different guitars..... as long as on some of them you upgrade the wiring or change the pickups.
Bottom line is that the safest way to get satisfaction is to play a few and then buy the one that blows your skirt up.

I suspected as much! I will give it a day or two and if no intelligent argument can be put forth on this or the other forums I posted then I'll plunks down my money and buys my guitar.
