Eddie Van Halen has inspired, and will continue to inspire generations.
RIP Sir.
RIP Sir.
Very cool!Saw him in '86 with my mom before I left for college. That was the last concert she and I ever saw together.
Hey, I was there!Alice In Chains opened for VH at Shoreline Amphitheater (near SF CA) during the F.U.C.K tour. I was impressed by Alice with their awesome performance and VH had to top that.
They did..... effortlessly.
Fair Warning is my favorite VH album, the peak of an era in rock music that I describe as "When Van Halen ruled the world."How many of us made "that face" hearing the opening to this song. VH at their meanest and dirtiest. I'm thinking more kids are going to discover this 40 year old band.
I remember a Guitar World cover with him when he was in a bad way. It was awful, he looked shockingly bad. In a rather short period of time, a cleaned up Eddie was back on the cover looking shockingly healthy. You could barely tell it was the same guy.We went from rock star Eddie

More than anything I'm glad Wolfie got him back on stage and was able to work with his dad.

Definitely my favorite VH album, though most of my favorite songs are DLR goodtime tunes.Fair Warning is my favorite VH album, the peak of an era in rock music that I describe as "When Van Halen ruled the world."
It's like in this song they're doing Rage Against The Machine better than Rage Against The Machine would.
Also had a track on that album titled "Unchained".....cute little tune.
