I'm 100% sure they'll crush the group, getting everyone's hopes up and lose to a third place team in the round of 16 :laugh2:

Looks like England are going to win first place in the whose-fans-are-the-biggest-bunch-of-wankers contest.

Again.

****ing morons.

Well, took three matches to get the whole thing going.
Second half of the Wales vs. Slovakia started to look like a real deal and not a charity exhibition match.

Bummer about England but happy for Wales. Who would have thought Wales being ahead of England :laugh2:

Still, only first match.

I really should not have been surprised about the England result. :laugh2: A great opportunity thrown away. But hopefully they can learn from it and move on. More teams will make it through to the knockout round than not this time so it's bound to feel like a better tournament result regardless.

It really is good to see them taking the youngsters out though. I don't get the vibe from any of the current squad that I did from Rooney, Owen, Linekar, Beckham etc. when they broke through but I hope there are some decent highlights.
