FS: Original vintage 1960 Gibson Les Paul Special DC

This will be my ultimate regret, but at this point I have no other choice. It’s the sweetest sounding and most comfortable guitar I’ve ever had, it outshined all of my Historic LP’s by a great margin. Absolutely no contest! This is the real deal! The ultimate ticket to the vintage game.

The guitar is all-original to my best knowledge other than a professional refret in the past and an aftermarket 70’s hardcase. Also, the shiny lacquer has gone almost full matte on the body, but the guitar has never been refinished. Original P90’s, Bumlebee pots and caps, original tuners and aluminium wraptail! No damages, no breaks/cracks/repairs! The nitro is full of sweet weather-checking all over the neck.

Very light at only 3,2 kg! The Honduran mahogany body and neck combined with the jet-black BRW fretboard is pure magic. The neck is of course a slim 60’s style. The guitar is almost as resonant as an acoustic – you won’t believe it... it’s simply incredible how different this baby sounds compared to any modern Les Paul, just a whole different world.

This is an almost 100% original, well-played instrument with full of mojo and a good amount of playwear! I purchased this baby from one of the most well-respected dealers in the UK, so the instrument’s history is well-documented.

Price: 6800 EUR plus shipping. I ship with DPD fully insured and professionally packed. Shipping takes 3-5 days inside the EU and UK.

I'm looking for 2007-2014 R0 or R7 with 60s neck. Can pay up to 3k, depending on condition. Alternatively to trade for Rusty Anderson 335 in new condition. I have a medical condition and can't play thick necks so thin R0 is the way to go.

Its had a full professional fret dress and set up and plays very well.

Hand made in japan. I traced its history on the mylespaul forums and discovered it spent some time in America. A member on there played it in a small vintage guitar store in ohio and said it was the best guitar he had played and he couldn't put it down. Possible logo change during this time. It was then bought by a popular European vintage japanese guitar dealer and shipped over who I bought it from.

The tone of this guitar is something else. It sounds old and thats the best way I can describe it. Through a marhsall bluesbreaker combo and cranked up its pure Gary Moore blues tone. It has geat woody, natural sustain when unplugged and resonates very well.

Really needs to be played and heard to be appreciated.

FOR SALE: 2006 Gibson Les Paul 1960 Custom Shop Historic Reissue "G0"

I love the fat tone of this close to 10-year old baby and it will be hard to say goodbye, but here we go...
All-original 2006 Gibson Les Paul R0 Guitar Center plaintop edition in nice condition with original hardcase and paperwork.
Some light buckle rash on the back and a chip on the headstock faceplate but no other aesthetical issues.
The guitar is fairly light and very resonant, it weighs 4,1 kg. It has the no-longer used Madagascar rosewood fretboard which in my opinion posesses a much higher quality than today's dry Indian variety that is used by the Custom Shop.
The neck has a nice rounded shape, more of an 59-style neck - it's definitely not the usual slim tapered '60 neck. Beautiful Honeyburst finish and quarter-sawn back & neck which is rare. Nice faded mahogany on the back all around.
I don't think you can get a Historic R0 under €4000 these days so it might be a good find for someone here in the EU and UK.

There really isn't a whole lot to say about this one, its a year old mint condition, has had the lightest bedroom usage for practice baring one band rehearsal situation where it held up really well when plugged into a 2x12. Great valve tone, flexible EQ really dependable small amp with good organic distortion with good digital reverb. Check the website for more details:
