The Traditional Pros are my favorite in the Gibson/Epiphone lineup.

Great pickups, Grover tuners, open pore back of neck and body, plenty going for them.

There's been some hefty price increases the past year but prior to that the 1's and 2's were in a regular SDOTD rotation on MF for $299-$329.

Should of bought one in each color for those prices.

Ended up with a goldtop Pro 1 and a desertburst Pro 2.

View attachment 347378 Thanks Really liking the guitar.
The color combination looks great. The dark back and binding go well with the pickups and pickguard. Wouldn't mind adding that to the collection.

Fender's Classic Vibe Strat and Tele make it hard to justify the prices of the Corona, CA offerings and the same can be said of Epi's these days vs. the Nashville products.

I had a Gibson Studio for get what model and it was a gorgeous guitar $1100 used
Couldn’t bond with it didn’t play that well. I feel the Traditional Pro 2 plays way better.
I like it a lot. I agree with the Fender comment I have a MIM Strat put locking tuners,
Seymour Duncan Hot Rail In bridge and a white Pearloid pickguard On it And love it.

Well took Traditional Pro Back. Got Limited Edition LP Custom Pro. Traditional was causing me a little miscomfort because of thick neck. Tried out the slim taper neck on Custom and was allot better. So I got the Custom in Silver Burst MF had it on sale for $499.99 instead of $679.99 and GC honered it. Put .009s on it set bridge height set intonation and truss rod adjustment and it plays and sounds fantastic. Sweet Guitar.
Thanks
