I've had this 2011 Gibson Melody Maker for a while now, and I LOVE it. It has an upgraded Tone Pros intonatable wrap-around bridge, added tone pot, and upgraded Seymour Duncan SH-5 (Duncan Custom) humbucker, my all time favorite! Unfortunately, it's not exactly fitting my needs right now and I feel bad because it needs to get played more, it's just too cool. Would a trade for an Epiphone Les Paul Custom (or preferably Les Paul Custom Classic Antique!) be reasonable? Are there any similar guitars that would be a fair trade? Thanks all!

There is an Epi LP Elitist on CL Kansas City.

Just for you Elitist hounds.
I would pick it up but I have been into EBMM lately.

Posting this here too :)

* Selling this 2008 Epiphone LesPaul Custom. Guitar is still in mint condition, just very few minor playing marks.
She's got nothing to do with any other Epiphone nor cheaper Gibson.
Modified a lot making her a great guitar:
Schaller Tuners, handmade bone nut, Gibson Classic 57 pickups, Gibson pickup rings, knobs and pointers, jack plate, upgraded jack, Gotoh ABR-1 bridge, upgraded toggle switch, electronics and harness high quality, CTS pots, Gibson Bumblebees, Schaller security locks, a leather tree of life strap, includes a gigbag, all set up by a tech.
Knowing that an Epi Custom costs about 480 new today and there are for about 300 in mods and work in it, the price is set at 500€
If interested, message me and we'll discuss about the shipping.
Located in Luxembourg :)

*

Can you please show a pic of the serial# ?
and a side-shot where the neck meets the headstock ?

Thanks

I have to part ways with my Epiphone Les Paul Standard (financial reasons), its on ebay (German) and I recommend only D-A-CH people to buy it, although I'm sure we can figure out shipping for the whole EU if you really want it.

heres the list of mods I did in english too:

  • all plastics changed for gibson parts (pokerchip, switchtip, pickuprings and a bwb pickguard) except the back cavity covers are still cream!
  • Black Speedknobs
  • Metaljackplate
  • Switchcraft Jack
  • 50's Wiring
  • HLN handwound humbuckers made in england (with wood cover or without(double white))
  • Graphtech Black Tusq XL 6060-00 Nut
  • black Tune-O-Matic (original Epiphone)
  • black Tailpiece (original Epiphone)
  • back of the neck is made to a satin finish
  • new 3 way toggle
  • added gold grovers
  • schaller style straplocks (Gold)
  • D'addario .10 to .52
  • including SKB LP Hardcase
I also described in the ad that the neck humbucker seems to have a cold solder connection (easy fix) and the G string has some intonation issues which should be easily resolved.

It has some dings and scratches on the back but the top is in great condition.

I will ship this thing in the SKB Hardcase, with as many of the parts that used to be on the epi (I have one epi humbucker and most of the cream plastics)

for pics and more go to the ebay site: http://www.ebay.de/itm/282197441582?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649

if you have any questions or requests for more pictures, let me know

Sorry to hear. Get well quick. How do these compare to the MIJ/Elitist models?
