Epiphone pickups- different models

Okay, so I understand that the new 'Pro' models have those alnico pro pickups, and there are also 'probuckers'. But have the various models of Les Paul of the past got different pickups, too?

For example, would the pickups that came stock in my custom be exactly the same as those that come in the LP Special II (just with covers)?

Looking at the Epiphone Wiki, it seems there are variations, but since the information can vary within that page, that hasn't really provided an answer!

Most Epi LP's will have Alnico Classics for P/U's. The newer models designated Pro's mostly have Probuckers and some have the also new Alnico Classic PRO's. The Trad Pro has one of each, an Alnico Classic Pro 2 in the neck and a Probucker 3 in the bridge.
If you check the specs of the Epi LP Special II you see it has neither but rather the EPI 650R/700T combo which have ceramic 8 magnets.
