Epiphone Ltd. Ed. "2015" Joe Bonamassa Les Paul Standard w/ Bigsby®
I had gotten one of these when they came out because it seemed like a great guitar which it is. I’m not a huge musical fan of his but do enjoy what he has done in resurrecting vintage Les Pauls after Slash resurrected Les Pauls in general.
I watch a lot of Bonamassa videos on collecting guitars and guitar info. Can’t tell you a song he does haha but that’s ok.
He’s a great guy.
This guitar is very heavy with a very fat neck and has the signed COA with Lifton looking Epiphone Case. I named the guitar “Bonnie” since it’s a play on his name.
In any case this is a great guitar, had to level a couple of frets but it wouldn’t be an Epiphone if you didn’t have to do that. Also as per standard with every Epiphone I radiused the bridge properly to more of a Gibson radius. Epiphone recommends a ridiculous string height for the Low E and high E and I just set it to my specs which is 5/64 Low E and 4/64 high E I have large hands and can palm a basketball so this might be considered a low action for me
This guitar has Gibson pickups, Burstbucker 2 and 3. Sounds great.
