A few months back I got a MIC from 2006 with a humbucker that sucked lol

It was only a very slight modification to fit a soapbar P90 with a dogear cover. Think I paid like 15 bucks for the P90 lol... 9.9k ohms alnico 5 by Fleor. The pole screws are all 1mm or less from the strings. It will get as dirty as you want :D

More info and pictures would help, but shouldn't it have had a P90 anyway?
Not in 2010. Gibson/Epiphone features morph over the years :laugh2:

The '57 Reissue Juniors from 2006 to ??? had a dog ear P-100, but some may have had P-90s under the cover. My 2007 has a P-100.

They did have an anemic P-100, Replaced with a Lollar P90 in my 2003 RI.

Epiphone Juniors with humbuckers al have bolt-on necks.

The low budget Juniors have ceramic humbuckers. They've been making these for decades as a beginner instrument.
