hi, I called a shop today and the seller didn't know the name of the model of an epiphone les paul...I only know that's a gold top and has two humbuckers, I'm sure it's not the slash signature, how many models are like I said?Only the 57 gold top?And what's the price range of it?thanks for your help...

I just picked one up and it's not the :slash: sig either. It's a Les Paul Classic model. Nice guitar, I don't like the pickups though, they're way to tinny for my taste; at least the neck pickup. Bridge pup sort of does the trick.

There's a Canadian Market? "US Classic Goldtop, which is the Slash Goldtop without the Signature truss-rod cover, or Slash neck profile. Apparently on sale for around $600 which is killer.

Slash Sig. Goldtop.

'56 Goldtop P90 Reissue $499

*The only '57 Reissue Epiphone Les Paul that has been made over the years is the Elitist '57 Goldtop. used from $700-$950, and new from $1,099-$1,200.

The Slash model and Elitist are all but gone where they are no longer produced.

Recently saw a goldtop Elitist in a shop in Amsterdam. So, they should still be available for buying. If you look carefully.
