hi there guys i just want to ask which is better between this two guitars because i'm about to purchase a new les paul but i am caught in between this two.. and if you have an actual picture of prophecy plus please share because i think it is too plain black unlike the midnight saphire. the music store near doesn't have stock so please help me. i think i'll just buy on MFriend. thanks !

There is no 'better', there is only 'different'. It's totally a matter of personal preference. You can check out the specs for yourself and decide which you might prefer.

okay thanks i think i really want the prophecy i just wonder if the prophecy plus' body (midnight ebony) is same as the midnight saphire or the old prophecy midnight ebony because i can't find a clear pic on the internet thanks

Yeah, the pics on the Epi site really aren't that great. There are some better ones on the Sweetwater site but even those aren't the best. Someone around here must own one and will post a pic when they see the thread. Don't forget that the Prophecy has 24 frets while a normal Les Paul has 22 and it also has active pups.

There's also the Tribute PLUS to consider. It comes with Gibson pickups and upgraded electronics and is probably the best Epi LP available at the moment.

yes sir ! i hope it looks like the midnight saphire. even the back is so gorgeous i just dont want a blue one i love guitar with neutral color or just plain wood with gloss finish

i love the mahogany grain on the back and the quilted maple on top. so natural it is like mother earth's face on a guitar.

You keep talking about midnight saphire and being blue but the auction you linked to is a black or midnight ebony one. You do understand those are two different colors....right?

He understands that and he wants the black one. The problem is that he cannot find decent pictures of the black guitar anywhere.
