Wow, that is one damn sweet geetar. I'm not a huge Bonomassa fan, but it's gorgeous to look at. I like the gold sparkle paint and the dark backside.

Throw in some actual Gibson pups, long tenon and a case for the same price as an Epi Custom, and hundreds less than any other comparable Epi limited edition LP, except the Special Jr's, and I'm ready to pounce on one. Now, if I could only get the wife to somehow authorize this purchase...:hmm:

What's the difference between that model and the '59 Goldtop? (Besides the black bits and the pups) I don't understand why it's that costly.

Replica Lifton-style hardshell case and a certificate of authenticity personally hand signed by Joe Bonamassa. 1950's rounded neck profile mahogany neck with long neck tenon for added strenth and sustain. Gibson Burstbucker 2 pickup in the neck and the hotter Burstbucker 3 in the bridge for added bite. Grover 14:1 Tuners and Epiphone Straplocks. Limited run of only 1,000 guitars will be made..

I think $699 for that is a very fair deal.... If you can grab one with a 20% discount that brings it to $559...:cool:

WHOA!!! My apologies!!! I misread the post. I thought the price said $1600. I agree NOW that that's a pretty good deal.

SORRY!!!

No nylon saddles on the bridge?
They would've had to re-patent a new one cause you know they don't use anybody else's anything except some in house rolled Alnico II Duncan clones they stamp with the Duncan name on them:laugh2:
Just Joking. But I am suspicious.

Only 1,000? They'll be gone in a day. I bet Epi makes more when they see how fast these go. There's probably 300 guys on this forum alone that are gonna buy one. To bad they dont make it in Lefty or there would be 301 from here buying one :naughty:

so it's the same price as a custom, lifton-style case, burstbuckers and a long neck tenon.
would you guys rather buy a custom or this JB sig?
I know I'd go for the JB(if I had the money :rofl::rofl::rofl:)

If I wasn't so close to buying a serious amp, I'd possibly go for one of these!

I'm not a JB fan, but the specs are killer...really makes the slash models look like even bigger ripoffs. Whens the release date?
