Very nice, congrats. That is a nice top, very 59ish for sure.

I think you should weigh it again, mine is 9lbs and I don't think that will weigh in at less than 8lbs. These are a solid mahogany body and not weight relieved.

Thanks. I have a very accurate scale that I use for guitars, it is indeed 7.14 Lbs. The R8 in my avatar is also a lightweight at 8.3 Lbs., but still the Lazarus is noticeably lighter to pick up.

So thats 7 pounds 14.6 ounce ?? At first glance it looked like 7 pounds 1 once ... I really need to get a scale cause i have no idea what some of these things wiegh. If i had to guess I would say my JB is between 8 and 8.5 pounds it's lighter than some of my other 59s...

Yeah one thing i have learned with these lighter LPs is that they do sound great. I used to be the heavier the better kinda LP owner. My one Gold 59 has to be 10 plus pounds and my other 59's and Jb sound better.... I need to figure out what pups will help the tone on this thing right now it still has the BBs in it.

Had a quick chance to put it through it‘s paces yesterday, it def. sounds as good as it looks…super resonant too!
