I can't wait until you get this, hard to believe they still had a brand new one almost a year later. It's almost time again for the JB yearly guitar, I can't wait to see what they got for us.

I wouldn't send it back. The top look good on that thing man. Once you get the plastic off the pups remove the pick guard and wipe it down i bet it looks pretty good.....

I quite like that top to be honest but its not my axe or call,I’ve seen far worse tops,more importantly how does it feel,how does it play,
at the end of the day if it’s right you will know straight away.and the other may be a Dog with a pretty face

I didn’t play it yet. I was hoping the other one was still available. They did offer me $200 off though.

Sounds like a good deal,you may love it when you play it,sometimes Guitars choose their owners,not the other way round,
plug it play it clean,run through the neck,crank it up and see how you feel about it,

Nothing wrong with that one at all, very nice. Take the $200 off and run, you are very lucky. You can re-sell that if you end up not bonding with it, easily for $1000-$1200.

We need more from all different angles.

I just scrolled up and looked at your guitar again, it is super sweet, I would take that all day long for sure. Such a great playing/feeling guitar, you got to give it a try. Mine was great and after taking it to the Luthier for a fret dressing/professional setup, it was just perfect, such a fantastic guitar.

It does play well. Fret’s could use polishing. Initially I was very disappointed cause I loved the other top but this one is growing on me. For $699 I’m going to keep it

Sweet Laz, without a doubt. If it plays as well as it looks I'd be inclined to keep it, too.

Tbh, that top is nicer than most I've seen for sale online recently. Guessing it looks even better in person.
