I’m having trouble believing it. GC is known for just plain lying about having things in stock.

Well we all know that they did that fourth batch not to long ago. They probably had some put away for returns and shit like that. But yeah so much for limited edition. What a load of crap that was.

+1
Someone in marketing called and asked Epiphone, Epiphone gave them a noncommittal answer, and GC marketing ran with it.
Lazarus and Normburst are done.
They are sold out on the JB store, and if any at all are available, that's where Epiphone will ship them first.
The 335 was briefly sold out but it looks like they are back.

What ones where the norm burst?
The one before the Black Beauty, 2019.
The ads made it look like a clownburst, but it wasn't quite as bright in reality, it was more like a regular Cherryburst.

2022 - Red 335 w/Vibrola
2021 - Lazarus LP Standard
2020 - Black Beauty LP Custom
2019 - Normburst LP Standard
2018 - Black 355 w/Bigsby
2017 - Amos V. Amos was the first one to include a case.
2016 - 2 different single pickup Firebird, case available separately
2015 - Green Standard with Bigsby and black plastics
2014 - Pelham Blue Standard w/black plastics

If I had to guess, I'd say we might see a relic version of Lazarus the '59 marketed as "Dirtyburst" for 2023, since it seems like his Epi releases closely follow his recent acquisitions, and "Dirtyburst" is the one that's been in the news this year.

I pulled the trigger and bought one but soon after I found that they were out of stock again. :(
It seems they get listed as they become available.

I did mine up in aged nickel and all just not reliced. I hope they done mess up the finish on this one if it does happen???
