I just got one of these from wildwood. 699 shipped. With my arsenal of gear ranging from vintage, custom shop, and new guitars, I thought I would take a chance on one of these, especially at this price point.

First off, wildwood was exceptional to deal with, one of my best experiences ever.

A stunning looker with its all gold finish, and black stinger. Nice big neck, Grover tuners, seymour Duncan p90. Sounds like a nice old junior, big and fat, cleans up wonderfully.

proof that a good guitar can be had for this kind of money, it’s the best bang for my buck ever.

That’s an epiphone I’d own. I came close, but I’m going higher end on my next guitar.

I cant overstate how much of a bang for buck this guitar is, its not even fair to use the expression. It stands on its own as a legit gigging instrument, sounds glorious, and has a big fat neck, finish on mine was excellent. You will be surprised how versatile it can be even with the one pickup and two knobs, its fantastic!

I played my Gold Glory for the first time in many months on Saturday night. Unplugged, I had forgotten how loud this guitar is. It is even louder than my Deluxe 70s, which is my loudest Gibson. It was loud enough to make my brother turn his TV up. Sorry, bro.

I'm trying to winnow my guitar collection down, and hopefully free up funds for the music room. So far, I have not been successful. I got the above mentioned Deluxe by trading my SG in on it. After playing this again, I don't think I want to sell it. Dang it, I can't keep them all ... can I?

I love Goldtops in general.
This one just looks bitchin’!
Every time I get the urge to buy one, they are always on back-order.

is that a pair of 8" speakers in that cab under the champ? Nice

I wanted an Epi Jr but the pau ferro boards are so streaky, I can't buy one sight unseen. None in my local GC to try.
Nope, 2X10".
That Jr is a 57 RI from 2006. Pretty much a Gibson ... it had it's headstock snapped
