I'm checking my YouTube channel and I have a lot of Reggae videos at big festivals where they use Les Paul Epiphone. I do reggae music. And it sounds great for this style. I think that many Reggae guitarists will continue using these new epiphons. I was looking for my tone and with this guitar I found it. I also have a telecaster but the paul sounds fuller.

I pre-ordered the '59 in Aged Dark burst this past Monday. It should be here in tick... tick.... tick.... June, maybe?

Does anybody know where this one is the epiphone website?

I can't find it anywhere.

Epiphone doesn't have it in any catalog, or advertisement anywhere I've been able to find. Until they get some samples from the production run, it's doubtful anymore photos will be released.

Peace Keith

Is 50's very nice. How is the neck profile comfortable? "I have the 60's and I like it very much. But I would like to know how to play a fatter profile. Thank you.

I had a look at the new Epi Junior and Special. I wasn't impressed with the veneered Junior but it appears to be finished nicely. On the other hand, the Special's finish is just light enough to see a bit of grain below the yellow. Likely also veneered and nice fit and finish, smooth frets. I didn't play either one

I'd rather have a visible multi piece body instead of veneer. I already have a yellow Epi '07 '57 Junior Reissue, but I'd like to buy the yellow Special as a companion for the Junior.

I handled one of the new 50s Standards (Epiphone) at a GC this past weekend. It was a bit of a hybrid. It was reminiscent of the D shape we are all familiar with on Epiphones (which I don't like), but because it was thicker, I feel like the the bigger shoulders or D shape just sort of 'worked' in a way it never seemed to work for me on a thinner neck. It filled the hand and was comfortable. Granted, I didn't sit down and play it for a half and hour or anything (I'm a lefty, so that would have been entertaining), but it didn't feel like any neck I had felt before. I actually kind of dug it.

Really surprised/dissapointed that the long neck tenon doesn't come standard on the Custom range or the 60's. Why is the 50's line an exception?

The shorter tenon would make you not want to buy it ? Why is that ? What more does it bring, apart from "knowing" the tenon is short or long ?

Don't tell me sustain ... PLEASE.
