Thinking about maybe putting black rings on this one. I kinda like it the way it is now but getting that itch to try the blk rings. Since I have 2 of these I am trying to make them as different as I can make them. I was just going to sell this one but it's growing on me it plays great and sounds good too !!!

Okay, sure - I'll play

At one point in my GAS past I had 5 or 6 Epi Goldtops (back when you could get them used for $199 - even the Lynyrd Skynyrd model). These days I have just this 2021 Epi Les Paul Traditional PRO-IV - and it is a KILLER guitar . . . playabily and tone are magnificent!

I have an EPI 56 GT LP P90, a 2009 model. I have installed buzz free pups, a Gotoh bridge, a bone nut, and have an and a brass aluminum TPS that I interchange depending on the tone I want. I also have in/out of phase controls and PIO caps. I knew what I was going for because I used to play a REAL Gibson 56 GT LP way back in the day, and this Epi sounds better!

I’ll not post a pic here, because there are already several pics of identical guitars on this thread.

I barely deserve to be in here. I paid the minimum cover charge to get in with my Trad Pro IV, but it's a wonderful thing and I love it.

This is the Trad Pro IV ?? I did a trade with a member here for my blk ebony worn classic for his red colored Trad Pro IV . He had offered me either the gold top or that red one. I know I am going to be kicking my self for not taking the gold top... https://www.mylespaul.com/media/img_7580-jpg.115694/full

Years and years ago ...... I yearned for a Gold Top LP ....... but alas , everyone I ran across was lackluster . After years and years of futile searching ...... I settled on a Classic Worn Gold Top .

There’s a few threads here on em. Easy to read up on. They’re different, but I think they’re cool. Totally different vibe to em.

Yeah I remember read thru some of those threads. I was looking at the specs between the Trad Pro and the Worn Classic and I fail to see what the diff is other than the name of the model?? I have had my eye on this red one since the released it last yr ish .. Not really a big deal if i don't bond with it ?? I will just give it my daughter. I was going to give her the black ebony worn classic before i decided to make this trade... She prob like the red better anyways... The guitar plays decent stock I really haven't done much to it...

Aside from the addition of cts tone pots & treble bleed , not much difference . My opinion only , but the neck on the Trad Pro IV feels a little thinner than the worn .
