The cert was signed by Peter himself and is enclosed in a really spiffy presentation binder. The outfits are limited to 200 worldwide.
I don't recall what number his guitar is but I will ask when I drop by there on Friday. I was on my way home from work and did not have a lot of time.

I think the printed signature you are talking about its the one from the Epiphone pesident, which is in every Epiphone that ships with a certificate. I see no Peter signature in the COA, nor any unique numeration in the guitar, and of course the signature on the headstock is a decal;

Well I will see soon enough. I will be a little disappointed if the cert isn't signed by Peter but I do have a couple of other things signed by him so won't be heartbroken. Mine is supposed to ship on October 11. Thanks all.

What kind of strap is it? May want to try to match it since I bought the new guitar. Thanks.
They were made by a company called Ace, back in the '60s-'70s.

Though the pattern on mine is slighty different, it's still very close.

Here's a comparrison pic I just took:

I am getting the 1 of 200 signed cert.

That's awesome man!

Maybe we could to start a new thread when they start arriving to see how many of the signed and unsigned end up here with forum members.

Is it just me or did they improve the body shape to be more like the Gibson counterpart??

Wow, I can't wait top to get mine. The Ebony Fretboard is a thing of beauty, as well as the rest of the guitar!

Looks typical Epiphone LP shape to me, which should be thinner than a Gibson LPC body, and with the horn being fatter in the Epiphone because the wider cutaway radius.

Looks great btw!!

If the epiphone is thinner or not the same shape as it's gibson counterpart than I will stick with a gibson.I'd like to see a comparison if anyone has both.

I think the Gibson version of this is $20,000 compared to $900-$1200.

I will try to do a comparison with my Gibson Beano this weekend. I can tell you the Frampton is a lot lighter than my Epiphone Budokan. You can see that one in the background of my photos above.
