Triumph made a Limited edition Daytona 675R. There were 47 of them. Special fairings and everything. I could have grabbed a used one but step 1 would have been replacing all the fairings and putting them in storage.
No use having a bike too delicate to ride.

I agree. I had a Gibson "limited edition" stamped "028". It was from a supposed run of 200. But there's no 028/200 marking.

When you're paying a premium price for a "limited edition", you should have some assurance of the "limit".

There are literally millions of Epiphones with "Limited Edition" written on them, where the only "limit" was how many shifts they were running that year to crank them out.

Often it's just the colour. Sometimes I suspect they made a mistake in blending the colour and when they discover it they slap on a limited edition sign. Off they go for sale :D

Each authorized dealer gets 200 signed/900 unsigned. Reminds me of the Gibson flood studio, we sure fell for that one!

Well, the regular run of 900 is still a good value guitar and build specs.

Does anyone know what the neck actually feels like? Is it just a slim neck?

It's a slim neck if it's like the Gibson version

I can't find any of the signed version of the Les Paul or the Texan available anymore. Looks like they are sold out.

This is killing me! I've been wanting one of these for a LONG time, but can't afford it (not looking for simpathy. Just sayin'). Even been trying to shed some gear, but no luck.

Had the chance a few years ago to score the Gibby version for about $3K, but that didn't pan out, either.

Oh, well. Such is life.

I am starting to 2nd guess myself, do I really need this guitar, which of course we never do right... But we get them anyway. :naughty:

Anyhow, those of you that know Peter Frampton and the Phenix, what do you think are the best features of this guitar?
