Gibson seems to think it's the beginning of a fretboard separation and want it sent to the factory for evaluation. Should I?
Bought brand new,Plugged it in and played at home one time the rest of time it stays in the caseYou might get a new guitar out of it.
I presume this was a new guitar that you only played once and then it sat, correct?
