Thanks once again Barcham, it is much cheap here at £3.49, if you shop around.. which is the eqivalent around $6 I believe? 500ml doesnt seem a lot to start with.. but I suppose it will last a long long time

500ml is a lot when it comes to guitar surfaces. It really doesn't take a lot to get good coverage and it's not like you have to do it every week. For the first few days after application, fingerprints didn't show up at all on the guitar...and trust me, I was actively trying to put them there. After playing for a few days, I did notice the occasional light smudge or two but a quick wipe with a polishing cloth and they were gone. Before the Autoglym, I had to seriously put some elbow grease into buffing to remove prints but now they vanish with a very soft pass of the cloth.

I really love this stuff and can't imagine bothering to try any other polish. One thing I really like is that there is no waxy feeling or slippery feeling to the finish after application. Just a nice, smooth finish.

It's quite expensive in the US I suppose there is a benefit of living in the UK...

Scratches are unavoidable unless you keep your guitar locked up in a case. But then, what's the point of owning a guitar if you're not going to play it!
