Ladies and Gentlemen,

my new Dot has come. It´s a MIC 2012 deluxe model in vintage sunburst.

Maybe I´m the only lucky owner of a 2012 made ES dot deluxe in Germany???
At the moment this model is not listed on epiphone.com
I really love it...

So it´s my first Epi ES, the NGD was last month. This thread is not to be meant as a "NGD-thread", more than a pool, in which Dot - Owners (Archtops etc.) are welcome... to jump in...
...and have fun.

I think this model(s) deserves its own thread, missed it.....

Show us your Epi-Archtop! :naughty:

Hope, it´s OK? ...I start it :)

-Absolutely beautiful! That vintage burst looks way cool on that Dot. The last Epi arch-top I played was a Sheraton II back when Fender first released the Blues DeVille amps. Plugged it into a DeVille 4x10 combo. Man! What a tone! Gain up just a bit, add some reverb, then slap the switch to the neck p'up. Just about wet my pants that day! Congrats on your new axe!

Matt

After pro-setup & fret level this guitar played quite good. Very comfortable. Probuckers sound nice (yes, this has the Probuckers, purchased in Dec of '11). Electronics are kinda cheesy IMO. I replaced the pickup surround screws with new black screws and put a custom pro-cut vinyl decal on the PG. I no longer have this one, but it was definitely a cool guitar.

thx guys.... :)

Yesterday I bought another dot  Couldn´t stand it, compared it to a sn****23**** one (it´s a 15 factory built) - killer. Look and tone is awsome.
Compared to other dots and SGs yesterday, this thing has an amazingly full and rich tone - so I had to take her home :fingersx:

Changed knobs and PG holder. For 299€ thies is a steal and a real bargain.

Such a sexy red one....

Really nice looking Dot, mate!!
I've been digging for some semi lately!
ES-339 Pro, ES-345 and ES-355 have recently been short listed!
Hope you'll enjoy yours very very much!

...too bad that it´s out of production. Maybe it was too cheap? Wonderful ES :thumb:

My early/mid 90's MIK Sorrento, highly modded to mimic a Gretsch 6120N- new Nashville.

Mods I did right when I got it ages ago ~ custom guard, custom inlay, Vintage B12.

Recent mods ~ had guard overhauled, TV Jones pups, inteactive tone switch and tone pot, rocking bar bridge and Grover imperial style tuners.
