Hey guys,
I'm not sure if this question has been addressed previously, but I'd like to know from other Budokan owners about the Ace Killswitch effect.
The way the Budokans are wired, you can't get the Killswitch effect unless you play in the middle position, turn the volume down on the top position pup, and switch upwards to get the effect.
I'm wondering if anyone has figured out a way to play in the treble position and kill it in the middle setting? My real Gibsons are set up to do that and I'm just used to it. Plus playing in the middle position tone-wise gets a little dulled...
I saw on another site how to add two wires to each side of the toggle switch to get the effect, but I believe this will cut off the neck and bridge pups altogether.
Has anyone tried this, and are you happy with the results?
I'm looking forward to hearing your suggestions and remedies!
Thanks in advance,
Brian
