Epiphone Ace Frehley Budokan

I recently got this Budokan. I'm impressed at the detail on it. It's a great guitar. Just bought it for fun because I'd never had one and read so many great things about it. I've had a couple of the Gibson USA Budokans from 2012. This one actually has more favorable features like the volute and ebony fretboard. The Gibson I think had Super Distortions in all 3 pickups. The Epiphone has a Super Distortion in the bridge and Dimarzio PAFs in the other two. Great guitar. Better than the Gibson USA version? Not really, but not too far off. Would be cool to start a collection of Epiphone Ace guitars, but they are getting pretty pricey. Anyone else have an Epiphone Ace guitar?

Ace was one of my first guitar heros. There was a small pawn shop in our little town a SEVERAL years ago. I was always afraid to spend the money on the thing for fear it was a fake. Glad you found a good one. Enjoy the heck out of it, I know I would!!
