I believe @fry may be in the UK:

On the up side, Andertons also has their own sweet Lemon burst:

Sweetwater (US) is $899

[update]
I just re-read @fry 's post, and I look to have jumped to conclusions... if there is a sale price somewhere this side of the pond I'd also love to hear about it!

I have one of the lemon burst models, and the top is strangely plain and uninspiring. I picked up one of the standard 50s models, the exclusive lemon burst from Sweetwater, and it’s really a beauty. That’s why I am selling the 1959. Not having a lot of luck, though. It doesn’t help that it’s currently on sale new for $749.
I didn't like the tops on the lemon drop ones. The 50's lemon definitely was a looker. There is a guy on here who has a sweet one out of the org batch. I think he still has it for sale??? Here is a pic of it. Maybe the guy will reconise it and chime in? I don't remeber his screen name...

Be cool to see what you do with your next 59,
Yep quite a few used for sale in the uk ,going for really cheap as well around the £400 mark madness
I am going to have to use the parts laying around for this one. I have some gold faber pieces I have to figure out how to remove the gold plating I may use. As far as pups I still have a few options laying around. Was thinking some SD JB n 59s for a little hotter tone. I am not going to waste money right now on locking klusons the stock tuners are just fine... I am sure I will post more pics than you guys care to see of it when i am done :)

Here is my Limited Edition 1959 LP Reissue from Sweetwater. It has a Mahogany body with an AAA Flame Maple top, Mahogany neck with an Indian Laurel fretboard, a VOS like aged Honey Burst gloss finish, late 50's style neck with Gibson Burstbucker Pups, Mallory Caps, CTS pots and Switchcraft toggle and jack. All and all a very sweet easy playing guitar! I love it!

There was a guy that had one of the 50s lemon models on Reverb for a long time. His price wasn’t bad, he even lowered it a time or two. The top was just awesome, I loved it. He had it on there for local pickup only, and wouldn’t budge. I sent him a message that if he changed his mind, to let me know. No response. I think it’s finally gone, not sure if he sold it or gave up.

Has anyone tried different pickups in their 59? If so, what have you tried and do you like them over the stock burst buckers? I'm thinking of trying some PAF type pickups with A2 magnets instead of the A5's that are in the burst buckers.

I took the BBs out of my JB Laz and put a set of the Gibson Alnico 2 Slash pups. I really like the way they sound. I also put a set of the Dimarzio 59's in my southern fade 59 and I really enjoy those too...

I already have the 50s standard lemonburst. I bought it used a while back, and got a pretty good price on it with a nice hard case. I just sold my 1959 today, I’m going to keep this one and probably upgrade the pickups. I have a set of Wolfetone Marshallheads looking for a home. Here’s the 50’s…

Got that about a month ago. Guy included a hardshell Gator case. Looks like he never touched it.
Was it the guy on this forum or did you find it elsewhere? Only asking cause I almost bought one off a guy on this forum about two years ago when they first came out...
