Since the other thread was about Epiphone building this guitar and also had a lot of non Epiphone posts throughout. I thought it would be cool to start a new one for owners or people who might be looking to purchase. Lets keep this one about the 59's.

Please feel free to post pictures of your 59’s, likes, dislikes, mods you are thinking about, music you play with it or whatever.

Here's mine:

Did you ever think the 59 is coming post would end up over 130 pages and counting? You definitely started a long and winding thread there Brother. I hope you're inviting those who have received their, and aren't bitching about them!
Peace Seven, I hope we have a nice troll free thread here!!!
Keith!!

That dark burst is sharp Seven. I really like the finish on these. Only modification that I'm planning is to have a bone nut cut and installed when I take it in for a set up. Here's mine...

Seven, did you notice on my first photo of the whole body that when the lighting is right, you can see that they did a three color burst, with red put down before they shot the brown? It shows up really well in that first photo!

I don't get mine until October but I've been saving almost all the pictures of them that I have came across. This seems like the best place for them.

I'd like to see one without its pickguard.

I've had an Aged Dark Burst pre-ordered from Sweetwater since March 6th and I was told in early August that I should get it on September 24th. Since then, I've heard people say the date has been pushed back to October, so I suppose I should call my Sweetwater rep and see if my date has changed.

I've got two fantastic Gibsons so I'm not too upset about the wait, this isn't a guitar I need, just something that I want.

Good idea @Seven. Fresh thread, that other was kinda a bummer. Good to see some of these finding their way home.

I looked over these photos and I noticed some have warped pickup rings, some don't, and some are more pronounced than others.

Your outside shot looks great seven.

Hey, figured it out on my own, and was able to copy the photos of my lovely guitar in this new thread! I love how they did a coat of bright red before the brown part of the burst. I live the colors in that full on frontal photo! And take a moment to look at all the bright Cherry in that 3 color burst. I really thought it was simply two colors until I saw it under good lighting. The red really shows up, and the flame has a lot of movement!

Hopefully this thread will be nothing but owners, and those who have ordered, and LOVE this guitar. Because someone had an issue with my post, I've deleted all but the first sentence, so that no one will think I'm preaching. I was trying to keep this from being like TGP where I've seen people argue over really inane topics. Not preaching, just thinking out loud, but so be it! I don't like controversy, and bad feelings interjected into threads, and try to keep the peace. This is the first of the nanny forums I belong to where I've had anyone take issue with anything I've said, so I must assume that it's not me who has a problem.
I will not speak of this again, unless the OP or others ask me to.

Peace please! K~

Hopefully this thread will be nothing but owners, and those who have ordered, and LOVE this guitar. All runs have guitars with some QC issues, especially at the beginning of a run, and these are as early in a run as one can get, yet still the majority of folks who've gotten theirs have only had minor QC issues, with Seven's Beautiful Guitar being the worst, and that was simply a misplaced wire. If you don't like these, or just want to talk about them in a negative way, this isn't the thread for you and I suggest you take any derogatory comments back over the 59 is coming! You can of course say what you want, we have a 1st amendment, but it would be greatly appreciated, not to mention the OPs reason for starting this thread, if you'd keep it positive, and friendly!!!
As Ringo would say:
Peace & Love all!
Keith

Stop preaching and whining, it's old. Also you taking everything as a slight and/or insult is old as well. If you have any issues with what I said PM me. Take it off the boards.

What would you say to have a sticky at the top of this thread (is it possible ? ) with all serial numbers, date and store they were bought from ? It would thus be possible to kind of follow production of the guitar.

It was done for The Epiphone LP '60 Tribute Plus and I found it intresting to follow.
