Nice! I love my 1959 but I've always wished it had a teardrop burst instead of a rim burst. Not quite enough to look to replace it with one of these but it looks like a great offering!

Wonder what the price will be? I hope they make other colors! Goldtop would tempt me for sure.
being It’ll include a case whereas the models below it won’t.. id expect a $799-$899 price.. something comparable to the current 1960 Tributes that come with gibson pickups and a hard case

Go Epi go! Hope they follow through with rosewood boards on the '59s, it's only right.

I will pull the trigger when they offer up a goldtop with P90s for sure. I just can’t justify any more humbuckers sadly. I’m glad to see epi doing this. I just saw a blurb on USA made Casinos too!

I'm looking foward to the 59 too! That and the Norm burst will make a good collection

The Indian Laurel board has to go. I can't stand the way they look, and they should do a '59 in Honey Burst since that's the color they faded to anyway. Clown burst was never my thing.

Nice specs though.
I think the faded iced tea, like the 1959 Standard, would be a great choice but in a proper teardrop not a rimburst.

I think the promotional images were teardrop:

But the actual ones I've seen are all rimburst:
