One of the regulars on Squiertalk attempted a neck repair on an Epi LP Custom. The repair didn't take and he's looking to sell or part it out. Here's the link:

epi LP custom - Fender® Squier® Guitar and Bass Forum

Thought someone might be interested here (the link has all the info...) Sounds like a good deal for the right person.

Good luck on it...

Thought I'd give this a bump since I updated the original - he's asking $145 obo complete (and will consider parting out).

I'd take it for $125 including shipping. I can use everything on it for existing projects.

Its basically a parts guitar now. Only one thing harder than fixing a broken neck, fixing one that someone has repaired incorrectly. If its just got stock parts it probably worth $50.

I sent you a pm over at the Squire forum... If you decide to part it out, I might be interested in the pickups (rings, springs and hardware), all of the gold screws over the guitar, strap buttons and speed knobs.

Actually if you read the entire thread over on the Squire board, you'll see that it no longer looks this bad. He attempted to correct it and from the pics did a decent job, but was not completely successful.

This is a more recent pic, I believe, before finishing.

Thanks for updating this for me. I'm at work and not able to post much. The repair held just fine until someone knocked it over an didn't have the testicular fortitude to tell me. I didn't know it had broken again until I took it out of the case to play it again.

There are more pics in the thread at squiertalk.
