Damn hard to find White accessories. I've got the pearloid pickgaurd and white knobs, but having a hard time finding pickup rings and the toggle washer. Allparts has the rings but it doesn't say if it's for metric/Epiphone. Anyone have a good resource for me? I've searched WD, Allparts, Mighty Mite, GFS, ebay and amazon. Blurgh

I have a vintage sunburst Studio. I put Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates pickups in it along with orange drop caps and 2 push-pulls for coil splitting. Its a blues rock/classic rock beast now.

I've heard nothing but good things about those pups.

I've ordered all the white parts for this mod (going all white/chrome). Will see how it tunes out in a few weeks if I get the time. Thanks everyone...

You should put some white hardware on it too, a la Buckethead:dude:

Thanks. What about the "White Out" idea? I'm thinking something like this:

Or just a white/black/white pickguard and a white toggle switch/plate? Going for something unique, but don't want it to be too ugly ;)

I had the white with cream plastic and gold knobs, but I think I like the black better? It offsets all that white nicely.

Glad to be here. I may split the humbuckers when I pick up new pots.

Was going to do cream plastics but then changed last min to all white plastics and chrome pickups. It's going to be interesting. I'm not sure it will all work but WTF, right?

OK. I've put all the parts on. Not yet wired up the pups. Will get to that soon. So here's the almost finished product.

GFS Vintage '59 Pickups
GFS Pearloid Pickguard
GFS White Speed Knobs
EBay Toggle washer, Toggle tip, white pup rings.

Wow, that looks amazing. I hadn't thought about putting white speed knobs on my LP until it was mentioned yesterday. I'm going to have to give it some serious thought.

Great work!

Thanks - It did come out nice. And I'm really enjoying the GFS Vintage '59 Pickups. They sound nice.
