So a real noob question:fingersx:

How do i adjust the action on my custom LP,the bridge confuses me compared to a strat.

There are the 2 skrews and those round(look like lock nuts or something?) do i just use a skrewdriver on the 2 skrews or adjust those round "lock nuts" or both?

yep. 1st time i adjusted mine i had the strings way loose to be sure i didn't damage anything, like the screwdriver slot in the adjusting screw. easy does it that's not super fine adjusting screw.

I could be wrong, but I think those "thumb screws" are non-functional and are in fact bonded to the bottom of the bridge. Though it sounds a little "mickey mouse" the Epi set-up actually provides a decent way to adjust the bridge. I have some guitars with functioning thumb screws, and they are always too hard to turn.

The thumbwheels are attached to the screw but not to the bridge, and i would only loosen the strings enough to give you a feel for the screws. i am thinking you're going to have to have them somewhere in the ball park to see how your actions is, but be concise about how much you turn them so you can correct if you over adjust and get fret buzz. 1st time, you might be a lil nervous about it but it's all good, you'll get it where you like it!

is the neck of the guitar straight or bendy?

thanks guys, well the neck looks too straight in my opinion hence the fret buzz with already high action compared to a mate of mines LP with straight 10's on his. I am considering rather going for straight 10's as it seems to suit the LP beter than my normal 10-52. Another thing is that i wont drop tune the LP anyways, only drop D when my other guitars are dropppin to Eb / C# and even C so those obvioulsy need the fatter strings.
