Educate me on the Scott Sheldon/MAX replica guitars

I keep seeing these guitars posted on Scott’s Facebook Page. I can’t really understand MAX’s involvement or if Scott is just using his name. It’s super confusing. Some of them actually look really good but I was wondering if anybody here could shed some more light or experiences.

at one time I owned a older MCI Sheldon replica and it was a good sounding les Paul…but it also had Electric City HallowEd Ground pickups which were superb.

I believe Scott "inherited" the brand name, but Max himself has not been involved in the building of these guitars since he retired.

thats not really what I'm asking...I'm looking more for people that own them or recent experiences.

Scott is a salesman on FB, that's been my exp.

My understanding is Scott has multiple Luthiers that build his guitars and you cant find out which one did it. I have heard far too many times that HE himself doesnt build them.

That said..I've only heard good things about the guitars themselves. But I have never played one.
