Just a quickie

I am about to pull the trigger on a set of new pups and I have suddenly had a doubt about what to get

I have a pretty beat up Ebony Les Paul Standard with cream binding, pup surrounds, and no pickguard that I need to change the pups on

I had my heart set on a set of aged cream & black ZEBRAS for something a little different but now I am thinking about aged nickel covers

I am about 70/30 for the ZEBRAS but just wanted a sense check from you guys

Whaddaya reckon - chrome or Zebra pups on an Ebony Les Paul?

Go double creams man. I have it like that on my 80' Tokai Reborn Old and they look killer like that!

Oooh - that is nice

I forgot to mention above that I have the amber control knobs similar to yours

I guess I now have a third option to consider...

I have ruled out all black due to the cream trim but hadn't considered all cream :hmm:

Urgh, double creams look awful on any les paul imo. Get Zebras or double black!

I'd go with the zebras. My Epi Trad Pro has zebras and I love the way it looks. It's wine red but the ebony ones look killer too:

Thanks for the opinions guys

I have just pulled the trigger on a set of BareKnuckle MULEs in...

...ZEBRA - aged to match the guitar

When everything is in I will post some pics

Incidentally - If I change my mind or get bored with ZEBRA BareKnuckle pickups can put the covers on at a later date :)
