I have both sets.

I tried 'em both in my LP Studio.

I liked the Blackouts better.

(But...I don't know if you can wire 2 9 volt batteries in series against these pups like you can with the EMG's)

EDIT: Damn...18 volt mod on both...hmmm....

Hahaha. No problems there. They both use the same quick connector system. (in fact...hell, get both and then you can change between the 2 sets in a matter of minutes!)

Although....I'm almost thinkin' the opposite would be cool.....blackout in the neck and the EMG 81 in the bridge... :laugh:
