Make that 4!
Only this one availlable. And at that price point I don't buy without personally having tried and listened.
Unfortunately the guy who's trying to sell it lives in Slovenia and getting there to check it out is almost impossible at the moment due to corona restrictions. But we'll see...

Does it have to be a Gibson? If not, I just finally got mine (within reason of what I can afford anyway. An early 60s LP/SG Custom would be #1 but even if I saved for a few years to get it I'd be afraid to touch it lol).

MIJ Seventy Seven Exrubato Custom. This one is particularly interesting as it has a one piece top and back, which I haven't seen on any others. Each one had to be custom ordered from the factory by a store or cusomer and are hand built. I haven't taken any of my own pics yet and in person it's definitely more of a chestnut brown than the fire ember red of the seller's pics.

I own all my dream guitars.

Shortly after acquiring the dreamiest (Les Paul Custom ebony, similar to above) I stopped playing.

I’ve barely picked up a guitar in three years.

Weird how that worked out.
Are they out on display or cased up and lonely?

my dream guitar changes a lot depending on my mood. But I remember seeing Slash playing a GoldTop live in the Tokyo DVD and thinking a Goldtop would be mine. I read somewhere it was a 57 Reissue with dark black, but I have no idea.
Unfortunatelly a reissue is a bit out of my budget and as Slash fan I am now saving for the Standard Slash Goldtop.
If I found a reissue with a dark black I might save a bit harder to get that one...

I could say a '59 Burst but that's too obvious. My dream guitar Gibson "The Les Paul" Hard to find and out of my thin wallet
Good choice. I love the wine red versions.

We have an ex Gibson employee on this forum who told the story of that guitar. It was indeed a reissue and slash either picked it out at the factory or was given it at the factory. I forget the details. Maybe someone remembers the thread and can chime in.

My dream LP was always an R8 and I snagged one of those around 5 years ago. I still have a couple more dream guitars I would love to add to my collection some day. A 3 pickup 57 black beauty and a Todd Krause Strat. Played one made by him once and it was magical, hope to again some day.

Is there a guitar you would absolutely love to own, but don't for some reason? Or do you already own your dream guitar? Either way, drop a picture here of your one and only dream guitar. Personally, I'd be really happy owning either one of these: View attachment 557602 View attachment 557603
you did say dream guitars, right? I dream of owning one of these.....

Same here. My guitars are just sitting, waiting for me. Someday.

I thought you meant it was an actual '64, not RI. Fifty + years of play, used, not abused, still in pretty good shape.

It does very much remind me of a sixties Gibson.
Superb neck. Red aniline stain smears around. Just like real!
