I saw .38 Special play last night with ZZ Top. Don Barnes plays an LP Double Cut. Don and the band were outstanding. Absolutely the CLEANEST show I've heard in a long time!

Looks like a double cut Junior, but with a humbucker? I cant tell. Looks nice though:thumb:

flashy dude, simple guitar, I think it works for him. Prince should play a Workhorse, then nothing could detract from his Prince-iness

Don has been playing the DC for years. I think it's a Jr. but I could be mistaken. .38 have always been a tight band live. Did they have 2 drummers?

I was at this show, too. I posted in the Cellar. .38 Special was really tight, but only one drummer. From where I was it looked like a jr DC.

I saw them a few years ago by accident. They filled in for Foreigner at a show at the Delaware state fair. Turned out to be an awesome turn of events as they were awesome. Peter Frampton was the headliner of the show and he was good as well. I have seen Frampton twice and have yet to be disappointed, btw.

It's a 50's cherry junior that has a humbucker in it.

:hmm: was just eyeballing this standard this morning. At $1,200 I think its priced too high. I found quite a few standard pro's for less and standards for as low as $700.

Gibson Les Paul Standard

It's gone. seems, someone didn't behave like a beggar and accepted this fair price.

I miss quite a few links, which proove your lowballer $700 Standard pro advertisements..
