My Step Daughters Lab is staying for the weekend. I usually try to send him home with some pics.

By the thread title I thought this was about animal cruelty - glad it's not! Love those pictures. Looks like a really nice dog.

This is our rescue chihuahua corgi on his first day home from the shelter. Great dog.

And this is our schnoodle (schnauzer poodle) - he is teaching the other dog his bad habits - still a great dog.

At 54, the older I get the more I tend to like Dogs more than some People...........as an analogy. Dog owners will understand where I am coming from.

Here's Scrappy:

He was one of my best friends, and even though words weren't ever mutually shared, I felt like we had an incredibly strong understanding, appreciation, and love for one another. I can't imagine being that close to another dog. Labs are hands down the best dogs around.

I still can't fit into words how much I miss Scrappy... it is true that when they leave, they take a part of us with them.

On a lighter note, this picture is my favorite of him of all time. I swear this is what happened.
