Does EB Cobalt Strings Wear Frets Faster?

I saw on another thread a few people saying these strings wear down frets faster, is this true?

Depends on how heavy handed you are.

I don't think anybody can possibly know at this point, because the Cobalt strings haven't been on the market long enough to have gotten enough playing time by any player to determine this.

They feel very (grippy) and were actually tearing into my fingertips a bit. They even sound rough, I don't care for them.
