Does anyone have an Epi LP they'll never get rid of?

So I know a lot of people have that one guitar(or maybe a few) that they will never sell or get rid of for one reason or another. Does anyone have that Epi LP like that? One that plays so nice, or sounds so good you won't get rid of it ever? For me, it's my PTP. It's a 2012 in Trans Blue. Plays just as good if not better than any Gibson LP I've played and sounds great too. It has a few battle scars on it that make me like it even more. What about you guys?

I will never get rid of my Epiphone '59 Standard. In fact, I have three of them, all Ishibashi Japan version.

I like to play all the guitars I have. I don´t feel like I´ll be getting rid of any of them any time soon. One of these is my 339, which is a terrific instrument. Epis and other brands offer a fantastic value nowadays. I wish more people would get over the headstock shape or the name. Epiphone should be synonym of good instruments.

Sorry, I just noticed that you meant Epi LPs. I don´t own one, but I certainly would not mind.

My one and only lp is my mik classic. I have gone thru it from top to bottom and it is sweet. I would not compare it to any other brand because I truely think it stands out on its own merit. If fate allows it, I someday would like to add a historic lp to my collection.

I have a 2001 MIK HCS Standard that isn't going to bring in enough cash to warrant selling so at the very least it will go to my son when he grows into it.

I have two guitars that I can't see letting go and my 2010 Epi Joe Bonamassa Goldtop would be one of them.

I have a few Epi LP's and I don't plan on getting rid of any of them. However, if I had to get rid of everything, although it's not the "best" one if have, I'd probably keep my '01 Standard as it was my first LP and all these years later, still the guitar I reach for the most.

My Blacky is like my work truck. Nothing special but as they say "chrome don't get ya' home" She loves me and doesn't bitch.

I May be selling My Lynyrd Skynyrd 30th anniversary 2003 gold top guitar soon though. It sits and needs to be loved.

I'm thinking the same; I'll soon have three really good Epi's. JBGT, 1960 Standard and 1959 Standard. One for my daughter and son when they graduate and one for me in retirement. Assuming they both end up playing.

I have a 2012 Trans Blue PTP and it's never leaving either. After upgrading all kinds of stuff on it, there's no chance I'd get anything close to what I put in it if I did try to sell it. :laugh2:

My 2014 Gold Top. Feel I stole it for $250 in box. It is my most played guitar. I have other more expensive guitars, but it's the one I always grab.

Only have one Epi LP and like the other two Epis, they are all lifers.
Never let 'em go.

I only have one Epi LP, had it since new in '96, won't ever get rid! I worked and saved so hard as a young teen to buy it that it's never gonna be moved on! It's been modded now, pup's and wiring/pots and replaced the bridge with a different brand/variant! It's got some wear on the neck, nothing drastic, and some very light buckle rash! But it still plays better than my brand new Fender FSR BAJA Telecaster in white blonde, well I say plays better, but it's different so can't compare really. The Tele has a baseball bat of a neck where the Epi is a slim neck, after playing the slim neck for 19 years and never having a fat neck it just feels different! I also cannot get the action as low on the Tele or at least it doesn't feel as low!

The Epi LP is the one in my profile picture and there is also a picture of them both on the wall, I will post them up in a mo when I find the pictures!

Dan
