THIS.No. I wont even let them have a cell phone.
I had a welsh terrier that was insane about the tv. She knew which commercials had dogs in them and when she heard the music to those commercials she'd come flying and crash into the tv.
I had a cat who loved auto racing. He would swat at the cars, trying to catch them. He liked baseball too, trying to catch the "tiny people".My cat watches shows that are made for cats to watch. Birds fluttering about, rodents scampering across the screen-- all that sort of thing.
Years ago, I had a pair of Siamese cats, siblings, that also watched television. But they weren't extremely selective about the programming and would just sit there together and stare vacantly at the TV for about ten minutes.
Then, one or the other would become bored, and would wander off-- usually followed by the other cat.
It was weird at the time. I had never before seen a cat that was interested in television until those two Siamese came along... but now they've got "Cat TV" shows on Youtube-- and the cat really does just sit there and watch it.
